Cylinder guide rail exposed on new S&W 619?
i dont get it, it looks like the cylinder guide rail is exposed on this gun and not covered by the under lug… am i wrong?

that would be an extractor rod, and yes, just like on the 438, i has a piece attached to the barrel just in front to guard it and keep it aligned.
If you like the 619, skip it and get the 620, much nicer revolver, and almost the same, but better.
