What’s the best way to seal/insulate a beer line from a kegerator?
I am designing a kegerator out of a chest freezer. My plan is to have the kegerator in the basement, and pump it vertically ~10 ft into my kitchen above. I am using 1/4ID food grade tubing, as well as having an inline valve so I don’t have beer sitting in the line during extended periods of disuse. How would you suggest to seal the hole in the freezer where the line will go through it? and would you/how would you insulate the 10ft of exposed tubing?
use 3/4pipe insulation in a loop up the ten feet an back to the cooler object is to keep cold all the time you will nee a small in line fan box to get the cold air to loop through the pipe insulation hope you can figure what i mean this will work.good luck
