20 pound propane tank connection?
Connecting tank to appliance via regulator and hose, all of my appliance have a fitting(male npt) that threads into the tank valve . New appliance has “acme” type connector “female”. My old tank does not accept this connection type. My question is, When I buy a new tank, or exchange my old one, will the valve on the new tank support both connection types?

I have a mister heater and a grill. Both are new.
Do I need two different tanks? I was never aware of that? Is my heater connection obsolete? Does blue rhino have both types?
If it is obsolete, How can I run my heater when the old tank runs out?
The new style tanks with the threads on the outside [acme] will accept the old style [pol] fitting. The other 2 answers are incorrect.
