Looking to replace a water valve diaphragm that is no longer offered by the manufacturer.?

Our greenhouse operation uses about 24 brass water valves – solenoid operated, 1 1/4 inch. But the manufacturer no longer offers these valves – and so they no longer have any support for parts (shame on them).
It would be very expensive for us, both in materials and labor, to replace these valves. So, I’m hoping to find a substitute.

Everything wears out eventually. Search around online for 1 1/4″ water Solenoid Valves. It sounds like they don’t need to be rated for potable water, keep that in mind while searching because you may be able to use an industrial type valve that’s inexpensive. Be sure to match up the power requirements and flow etc. Sometimes the rebuild kits don’t last anyway…
You may also want to keep looking for parts specifically for your model valves. Many companies will say they don’t make them anymore because it’s easier for them to sell new valves they are stocking, rather than doing the work to find parts for you. Good luck.
