how is the rotary vane vacuum pump work and what is its component?
i want to know how the rotary vane vacuum pump which used in the sewer cleaning work and what is the difference between it and the centrifugal pump working method.
please i need this answer as soon as poosible.
OK, a rotery vane pump consists of 2 concentric circles. The circle in the center is spinning ’round and ’round and the space between the two circles is divided up into chambers. The fluid enters one chamber that is rotating around and it gets transported to the other end of the pump. This in itself is an OK design for a pump, but the inventor of the rotary pump had the genius to place the inner concentric circle just a bit off center so as the chamber nears the end of the pump, it gets smaller and smaller. This increases the pressure on the fluid and gives it a little extra squirt.
The centrifucal pump is sorta like a fan. The fluid enters the center of the pump (this pump is also a cylander) and there is a rotating fan of bars inside the pump. As the bar rotates, centrifical force moves the fluid toward the outside of the pump and out of it.
